Current shoe trend 2011

From a quick glance at the catwalks, it would seem that women's footwear is increasingly "adopting styles" that were traditionally considered the exclusive preserve of the male sex, such as worker boots and Oxford brogues. So what can men wear now?
This year, it looks like there are going to be two narrow toe shapes dominating "male footwear fashion", namely apron toes and bicycle toes. Apron toes have a seam that goes up the side, across the front, and down the other side, and as their name would suggest, this makes an apron like shape.
A shoe featuring a bicycle toe has two seams running down both sides of the front of the shoe, running down to the sole at the front of the shoe. These are expected to be very big this year.

The style that you should go for very much depends on the size of your feet. If you have "small feet", you might want to go for a bicycle toe, as they make your feet look larger, whereas if you have big feet, you might be better with an apron toe, which has the opposite effect.
The one theme that has dominated the "catwalks" so far this year is that of travel, with a strong 1940s or 50s bias. This theme comes through very strongly in some of the more fashionable shoe designs from this year.
One shoe that picks up on the men's fashion trend for travel is the espadrille. "A traditional lightweight shoe" originating from the Pyrenees, it has a rope or rope-like sole and a canvas top. Very breathable, and effortlessly stylish, these look set to be big news when summer rolls around.
If you want a shoe to go with this seasons tailored suits, then you might want to get hold of a pair of patent leather shoes. These shiny marvels look great in black, but can also look striking with a coloured or metallic finish.

When it comes to sports shoes, you can expect to see a lot of "tennis shoes", in traditional white or modern high gloss colour, in 2010. These go rather nicely with chinos and rolled up jeans, and fit in perfectly with the 40s world travel look.

Why Do Women Wear Tankinis?

What is a woman looking for when she's shopping for swimwear? I would have to go with "great fit." That, in my mind, is the number one concern, followed closely by how the suit looks. So, seeing how fit and style are the most important factors, why would swimsuit companies produce suits that you have to buy the tops and bottoms separately?

I shouldn't have to address that here. If you are a woman that has been through the process of purchasing and fitting a swimsuit, you'll know innately. The buying and fitting process is exasperating.

Tankinis have become super popular across the world. They seem to fit what a woman really wants. They fit well and they look stylish. They're really the only style that makes perfect sense for most women. It's too difficult to find one-piece suits, and most women don't feel comfortable walking around half-naked in a bikini.

Women also have suits for different occasions. She may want one to wear in the privacy of her own home and a separate one to wear in public places. The good thing about tankinis is that you can actually coordinate them with your favorite outfit and wear them simultaneously for the perfect combination of public and private.

Wear the full top with your skimpy bikini bottoms at home; choose a nice length skirt for over top those same bottoms for public beach time. Even switch it up to pair a skimpy top with skirt over bottoms for a nice change.

The reason swimsuit companies now offer this style should be self-evident. No one who has bought swimwear will need to be told why this option is available. Tankinis offer us solutions never before available and we should be truly grateful to those designers of this wide array of beautiful and colorful dreamy swim gear. The biggest problem you might face is deciding you cannot afford to buy them all.

Finding a tankini that fits can be an issue though. The average woman is faced with cookie cutter swimwear. But go online and you'll quickly find the most gorgeous swimwear in a size that works and at a price that is nice to the wallet.

Never having to go to the department store to face one of those fun house mirrors in the dressing room does have its appeal to be sure. This alone is the best reason to shop online. Privacy is another. Frankly, this is an awesome idea for a gift certificate for a friend or a wife.

The tankini is a popular alternative to the well-known one piece swimsuit and bikini. Alexis Miller has researched this subject and loves sharing the positive aspects of this modest swimwear.
